Finial House is a 17th century former Rectory opposite the bowling green in the quiet rural cotswold village of Broadwell near Burford. The Cotswold Wildlife Park and the upper reaches of the River Thames are 3 miles away. London: 70 miles.
We run a friendly and relaxed family house with a large mature garden, with herbaceous borders, croquet lawn, hard tennis court and surf swing.
There are many lovely Cotswold walks and the Thames footpath is close by; fabulous for walking, picnicing and boating. The countryside around us is also great for cyclists and walkers who wish to explore the surrounding lanes and villages. Riding and Polo are also nearby. We have lived in the Cotswolds for many years and will happily recommend places to visit.
We make our own Cotswold Crunch bread and jams and keep free range hens who all have names! Breakfast will be cooked on our Aga to order, all ingredients sourced locally and served in our dining room.
Chicken friendly dogs are most welcome.
We have three very large double rooms available with wonderful views over the garden.
Two of our rooms have King size double beds, the other has twin beds. All linen is 100% Egyptian cotton.
